Sunny's Hair Q& A: Why does my hair extensions tangle near my hairline?

Why does my hair extensions tangle near my hairline?

Q. Why do my Indian hair extensions tangle near my hairline?

A. Long story short: SWEAT!

If you have ever had a glorious set of hair extensions and then ventured into the ocean you've probably encountered the same problem!  Sweat tangles and gnarls hair extensions and unfortunately if you have a set hair extensions that are tangling at the base of your neck only it is probably a reaction due to the salt present in your sweat.

One way to combat this is to wear your hair in ponytails or clipped up off of your hairline when the temperatures soar.  (If you live in where you are always driving just bring a clip to protect your hair from your neckline when you get in the car or just pin it up if you are going to physically exert yourself for a bit)  Another tip is to try and seal the cuticle of the hair to prevent it from tangling with heat (flat irons are best) and immediately follow up by adding a bit of Argon Oil.

When the temperatures drop again it won't be an issue but unfortunately sometimes this can be a problem in July and August.  I hope this helps!  If you have any questions regarding hair extensions and wigs we'd love to answer it on our blog. Please leave a comment with your question!
